I have moved back to my home blog, dealing with supplementary blogs is a royal pain in my butt.
on back to Naurs.
We were given a couple images in my drawing 2 class, and were told to integrate them with our shoes. I had originally planned to do a city of shoes with houses swung over the wire, (huh huuh I so clevar) but then I remembered I only had an hour and that I was horrible at drawing shoes.
(This is one of those drawing that looks a lot better in person.)
This things has been murdered by my friends camera, but its better than nothing, and Im pretty glad he let me use it hahaha.
Im submitting things for candidacy into my colleges animation program today, and have a bunch of new art junk sitting on my computer! Say helloooooo to the queue guys!
Did you hear that I have no experience drawing figures? Well if not, thanks for not caring about my life you jerk.

A friend of mine told me today how he doesnt understand how I ever manage to jam so much crap on one page in my sketchbook. I think he described it like looking at a swarm of bees? It got me thinking about how I like busy looking things, and how my eyes never really need a lot of room to rest. This may be a bad thing and it also was a waste of my precious sleeping time to type this all out!
I may also jam a lot of stuff on here because these sketchbooks are 17 bucks and Ive gone through about 3 in half a year. That shit adds up.
My god does my grammar decline as the night goes on.
Were doing a walk in our Animation 2 class. The professor has described it as a character walk, walk cycle, and a walk across. I only have a slight idea as to which oen he actually meant.
Heres some ideas I had for a character, since I didnt want to be lame and use one of my old ones. Im a big advocate of using shapes, making basic decisions the moving onto a new drawing. Working out your visual problems through repetition is a lot of fun, and really educational. To me at least. This all probably just sounds like gibberish! Whatever! Fuck the police! I do what I want!
Im doing that annoying thing where I change my tumblr layout every 5 seconds while in the middle of a relatively fast queue.

This is Bleat, a character that Ive decided to give a larger nose to. Im also going to try to make him look less phallic. Maybe.
My animation class went to a girls basketball practice to do some drawing the other day, which was a cool experience. I havent done gestures on people in actual motion in, well…. ever, so I cant really say Im rusty.
Im trying to be less negative about my art farts, so all Ill say is that me and foreshortening dont get along very well. Things to work on in the future!
